I know this blog is not exactly generating a public as of yet, but I feel like I owe those few (much appreciated!) readers a little update. In the previous post, I said I was going to look to adopt an unwanted horse. A horse that somebody did not want to, or could not take care of. Well... Believe it or not, but that is easier said than done. While in times past, all horses that had been starving for a substantive time were sent to the market as 'rescue horses', with the new market system they just stay in their stables unfed and unvetted, mostly not leaving there ever.
So... I was not going to be stalking the marketplace forever to find those few elusive offers of horses for one coin that still exist. Luckily I was able to contact one owner of some horses they abandoned because of abundance. In plain words; they did not need those horses anymore, and I could have them for (almost) free if I wanted to. And well, one of them was quite cute- a blue roan Percheron mare with no markings other than her grizzled coat. Her name was 'star for sale', but I did change it to 'Drizzle', which I came up with after trying out some names that could've fitted well with her. Well I do know that Drizzle is quite a childish name, but despite her being a big chunky feathered draft, I think she looks like one big playful baby :). Anyway, you can go check out her profile if you'd like to come and see her. She's still a little head-shy from being left unattended for so long, but she surely wouldn't mind some nice brushing or a small treat. Don't feed her too many groceries though, I heard Percherons can get fat on a single blade of grass ;)
